Hi my parts and information page has become very popular so I'm trying to get a photograhic record of most injectors.
Injectors from different cars and manufacturers have different size and capacity.I am not an expert in injectors but I'm trying to help where people want to upgrade their injectors. If you have injectors and know the size flow rate and impedance and its not listed here and you feel it might help e-mail me a copy of a photo so that I can add this to our list.there are 4 main different things of importance re injectors. size(flow), feed (top or side feed) and impedance.Flow is how much fuel they can put out people in the us use pounds most others uses cc we will use cc/s for our examples. if you know the calculation for conversion to pound or reverse please email me.
Note:If you change your injectors you will require your ecu to be modified as the car will run very rich, if it runs at all.the reason is Injectors open for a certain amount of time and spray fuel but if the injector is open and the size of the nozzle is bigger then more fuel comes out.
>Another reason to upgrade injectors is when you fit a bigger turbo cause the the bigger turbo is increasing hp which in turn needs more fuel to burn
The stock injectors can't handel it and the car leans out and damages if not destroys the engine so something else to consider is a bigger fuel pump when you up grade your injectors.

Side Feed |
Top feed injectors and side feed injectors
The injectors the Nissan motors use and their sizes stock.
RB20 det uses top feed high impedance
injectors 270cc
RB25 uses side feed high impedance injectors 370cc
these are the same as the sr 20 det.
RB26 uses top feed low impedance injectors. 440cc
SR20 uses side feed high impedance 370cc injectors
(same as rb25)
VG30dett uses side feed high impedance 370 cc injectors
(same as above)
N/A engines I have not included these but are generally
smaller than their turbo counter parts.
rb30 e & et 250cc low impedance
Common upgrades
RB20
high impedance top feed.
the main choice is from the series 5 rx 7. these are
550cc injectors (they are denso and the part number is 195500-2020).
nismo make 2 as well 550 and 600 cc.
But I believe that you can use low impedacnce injectors
with a resistor pack from a gtr this has not been confirmed.
This is what the series 5 injectors look like.
RB25
high impedance side feed.
these are very expensive supplyiers are nismo, apexi, denso, sard,
HKS,Trust
sizes avaliable 550,660,740,850 cc
use the cc rating to give you a guide as to how much
hp they can handel there is a formula which I will include later .
s/hand after market options.
s15 sr 20 engine is reputed to have 480 cc injectors
(hard to find)
20b rotary engines are believed to use 850cc injectors.
people fit a new fuel rail to enable the use of top
feed injectors but you would still need high impedance if you are using a modified
stock ecu or a resistor pack to change impedance.
RB26
Top feed low impedance injectors.
these are cheaper than side feed and come in many sizes
from 550 up to 1000cc+ in 100cc approx steps.
suppliers Nismo, Apexi,Denso,Sard,HKS Trust etc
SR20
refer to RB25 the same.
VG30dett
refer to RB25det the same
Toyota's
US spec 2jz supra and 3s-gte from the gt4 have 550 low impedance side feed injectors.
Jap spec 2jzgte and 7ma-gte and 1 jz-gte have 430 side feed low impedance injectors.
most people convert to top feed as there are more injectors options there.
The jury is still out with me as to whether bosch injectors work on nissan cars but here are some references.
you might need a new fuel rail and aftermarket managment to run these.

A final note: the data in the following table is provided only as a guide. When installing new injectors you should always proceed with care, testing flow rates and measuring actual air/fuel ratios if you are at all unsure of the injectors that you have selected.
